Opened to the public on 19th November 2009, Phoenix Square is a truly unique cultural building, fusing together independent arts, cinema and

immersive digital gallery, individually designed homes, office studios and creative workspaces. Phoenix Square proudly boasts the De Montfort

University Cube - a unique, interactive digital art space where poetry meets gaming, image meets sound and performance meets installation.

One Leicester - Creative businesses at LCB Depot

Leicester Creative Business Depot opened in July 2004 on the site of the former city bus depot on Rutland Street, earning praise and two prestigious awards from the Royal Institute of British Architects. The building has integrated artworks by Linda Schwab (glass), Tony Stallard (neon), Metro-Boulot-Dodo (sound performance) and Faye Chamberlain (photography). LCB depot provides 55 studios and workspaces, meeting rooms, conference facilities and a fully licensed café.
