Highcross Leicester
The £350 million Highcross Leicester development is part of a larger master plan to create a city with wider opportunities, better shopping and easier urban living. The energy and excitement surrounding the development is gathering momentum as it moves closer to completion.
Aspirational fashion brands such as; Hugo Boss, Cruise, All Saints, Hobbs, Zara, Reiss, Next, H&M, New Look, River Island and Republic are a few of the renowned fashion lables featuring in the new store. Highcross also features a flagship four-storey John Lewis department store and will absorb the existing Shires to bring a total of 110,000 m2 of retail space to Leicester – making it equal in size to the internationally renowned Bullring, Birmingham.
As well as a tempting retail offering, Highcross Leicester will also incorporate dining experiences from around the world in a restaurant quarter reminiscent of London’s trendy Covent Garden. The restaurant quarter, which will feature 16 contemporary restaurants and cafes, has already attracted several contemporary brands, including YO! Sushi, Wagamama, The Handmade Burger Company and the Italian-styled Carluccio’s.
As one of the most exciting mixed-used complexes in the UK, visitors to Highcross Leicester will also be able to unwind after a hard day’s shopping by seeing one of the latest blockbuster films at a luxurious 12-screen Cinema de Lux.
You're going to love Highcross Leicester – so much so that you might not want to leave. And if that's the case, maybe you should think about buying one of the 120 apartments that have been incorporated into the scheme. Each apartment has its own balcony, with views directly over the two new public squares and restaurant quarter.
One great place to shop
Although this new retail development will put Leicester firmly on the map, lets not forget that Leicester boasts many unique boutiques, markets and specialist stores, as well as all the high street names offering a whole range of great shopping experiences. There's always plenty to keep shopaholics amused!
