  Small Organisations and Community Groups

Leicester City Council is developing a City Wide Carbon Reduction Plan. The Council has set a target to reduce citywide emissions of carbon dioxide to 50% of 1990 levels by 2025. We need your help to do this and for your actions to become part of this plan.

We are asking you, if you are part of a small business or community group to contribute to the City Wide Carbon Reduction Plan. We’d like to know what you are doing to reduce your carbon emissions, how you are doing it and what difference it is making to your organisation.

We've produced a guidance pack to the process which can be found below, along with a presentation and notes that you can use to brief your colleagues or other organisations.

These documents are those prepared for the 'Making Leicester a Low Carbon City' events in January 2012. The events were hosted by the Deputy City Mayor, Councillor Rory Palmer.
