One Fantastic Summer in Leicester

Whether you’re a fan of music, sport, theatre, the arts, or just looking for something to do this summer… Leicester promises to be one fantastic place to visit with a whole range of events and activities catering for all interests and ages. Fun-filled festivals include: the Spark Children’s Arts Festival, Riverside Festival, The Big Session, Belgrave Mela, the Caribbean Carnival, Rathayatra and the award-winning Summer Sundae Weekender! There’s plenty more too, including… playschemes, exhibitions, concerts, craft days, summer schemes, gigs, open days, workshops, funfairs and fun-runs. And, not forgetting – it’s the 2010 FIFA World Cup South Africa™! Many city venues will be showing the games, including - Leicester’s big screen, where you can also see Wimbledon highlights (unless circumstances dictate otherwise).
