As part of this year's festivities and celebrations 24 huge Advent Towers have been located throughout the city centre. Each Magical Advent Tower displays a prize – which you could win - in the daily prize draw, which takes place from Tuesday 1st December – Thursday 24th December.
The prizes: There’s a whole range of prizes to be won, including… a range of prizes from John Lewis, family show tickets for Peter Pan and Scrooge, from Curve and De Montfort Hall, shopping vouchers for Dominoes Toys, extra special treats at Maiyango and the Quarter Restaurant, and there’s even a special £250 shopping spree at Highcross to be won! What do I have to do?
‘Spot 3 to win’; tell us the location of just 3 of the Advent Towers, and let us know what prize is displayed on each of the 3 you find.
There’s 3 easy ways to enter:

In person: every morning between 10.30am – 12pm, from 1st – 24th December,
One Leicester Staff and Leicester Sound Thunder Crew will be on Humberstone Gate / near the Clock Tower where you can complete and hand in an entry form.

Post: within the One Magical Christmas Events Guide there is an entry form – simply fill this in and post it back to the freepost address shown, or hand your completed form in to the One Leicester Team / Leicester Sound Black Thunder Crew on Humberstone Gate (photocopied entry forms ARE accepted). The events guide is available online or from libraries, sports centres, Leicester Tourist Information Centre (Town Hall Square), museums, Leicester City Council Customer Service Centres & other venues.
Do I win the prizes I put on my form?
Not necessarily – to enter, you can put ANY three tower locations and the prizes displayed on them. Your entry then goes into the prize draw. Entries are drawn at random each day throughout the month – if you don’t win one day, your entry stays in the ‘hat’ until the next day and so on. If you are lucky enough to win - you win whatever prize is relevant for that day, i.e. day 19 on the One Magical Advent Towers is a £100 Dominoes Toys voucher – so the entry drawn, at random that day, will win that prize.
How to find out if you’ve won:
A draw will take place every day from 1st – 24th December, and the winner for that day will be revealed here on the One Leicester website each day - find out who the winners are here, and also on Leicester Sound 105.4FM the following day on the Breakfast Show. We will also contact the winner directly.
There will also be some special ‘live prize draws’, with Big prizes to be won, hosted by the Leicester Sound Breakfast Crew – Dates: 12th, 19th and 24th December.

When can I enter?
You can submit entry forms as soon as you like – click here for an online entry form (you can also use the PDF attached below). All entries received before the 1st December will be placed in the ‘hat’ ready for the daily prize draws.

When does the draw take place?
A prize draw takes place each day and winners will be announced online and on Leicester Sound 105.4FM each day. There will also be some special ‘live prize draws’, with Big prizes to be won, hosted by the Leicester Sound Breakfast Crew – Dates: 12th, 19th and 24th December.
What happens to my entry form?
All entries will be entered into a ‘hat’. An entry will be picked at random each day.
Does my entry stay in the ‘hat’?
YES – all entry forms received will stay in the ‘hat’ each day from the start. So, if you enter at the very start you’ll stand a chance of winning every day during December.
Can I enter more than once?
Sorry – no. To give everybody an equal chance, duplicate entry forms will be removed. BUT, if you have a brochure with an entry form in it – you can photocopy it so other family members / friends / colleagues etc. can enter as well.
Where do I bring my entry form to?
Either post it back to the freepost address shown on it, or hand it in to the One Leicester Team / Black Thunder Crew each day from 10.30am – 12pm, from 1st – 24th December at the Clock Tower.
What if I use a false name to enter?
You will be asked to bring I.D. with you when you collect your prize.
How old do I have to be to enter?
Anybody can enter, but if you are under 12, please obtain your parent/guardian’s consent. In some circumstances if you are under 12, your parent parent/guardian will need to collect the prize.
Non-claimed prizes: Prizes not claimed within 10 days will be re-entered into the draw, i.e. we will randomly pick out another name and will contact the winner directly.
