Full terms, conditions and other important information - please read to avoid disappointment:

  

  • You can enter the competition once, duplicate entries will be removed

  • You MUST be 13 years of age, or older to enter - under 13s must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or over

  • Proof of ID may be required to claim tickets and also at the venues where alcohol can be purchased.  It might be that under 21s require ID to purchase alcohol!

  • A valid email address and telephone number MUST be given to allow us to contact you if needed, together with where you saw the competition advertised

  • The tickets/prizes are NOT transferable – meaning the person that wins the tickets MUST be present at the show/gig/event/venue etc.

  • The ticket/s/prizes are not redeemable for cash

  • This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion

  • Unless otherwise specified - all competitions close at 11.59pm on the closing day/date stated
  • The prize has been provided by external partners - by entering you agree to adhere to their terms and conditions for which One Leicester has no responsibility or control
  • The judge’s decision is final – no correspondence will be entered into

How do you choose the winner?
All correct entries will be put into a ‘hat’ and the winner will be drawn at random with an independent witness present.

 

How will I know if I’ve won?
We will post details of the winners online (on the competition page) shortly after the closing date/s. Winners will also be notified directly. 

 

What happens then? 
Winners will receive your tickets in the post OR be contacted by the venue/organisation that provided the prize ditrectly - within good time for you to be able to use the prize.

 

Will my details be entered onto a database?
Yes, if you are not already on there, your email address will be added to our e-Newsletter database – but you can unsubscribe at any time. Your details will not be shared with other organisations, other than possibly those involved in the competitions. See full data protection issues below.

Data protection: by entering the One Leicester competition you will be automatically subscribed to the One Leicester mailing list - meaning you will receive our e-Newsletter, which is sent out monthly, to let you know about events, festivals, offers, news, competitions and more...  we may also send you other very occasional emails if we have imoportant updates to tell you about.

 

Unsubscribing: you can easily unsubscribe (preferably after the competition is over) at any time, by using the links provided in the e-Newsletter, or by visiting: http://oneleicesteronline.com/unsubscribe.php or by emailing: info@oneleicesteronline.com and ‘Please unsubscribe me’ in the email heading together with your contact details and email address.

 

The information provided will be processed in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. The information will be used by One Leicester, Leicester City Council and its partners/contractors to deliver and improve services and also, if requested, by the organisations involved in the competitions, e.g. those that have provided the prizes may use your data for contacting you directly. We will not disclose any personal information to any other third parties unless required to do so by law.

IMPORTANT: as it’s SO important you do this - you MUST add the following email address to your email address book, or email contacts safe list / trusted list: info@oneleicesteronline.com - otherwise it may get blocked by your email provider’s junk filter and we may not be able to contact you.
