The prize is for one person to win a pair(x2) of tickets to see the Leicester Mercury Comedian of the Year show, on Saturday 18th February, at The Y Theatre, 7 East Street, Leicester, LE1 6YE. Doors: 7pm, event start: 7.30pm. Normal ticket price = £15 (£13.50).

There are x2 tickets available - meaning one (1) winner gets x2 tickets.

Proof of ID may be required
A valid email address and telephone number should be given to allow us to contact you if needed, together with where you saw the competition advertised.

The tickets are NOT transferable – meaning the person that wins the tickets MUST be present at the show.

The tickets are not redeemable for cash.

The judge’s decision is final – no correspondence will be entered into

How do you choose the winner?
All correct entries will be put into a ‘hat’ and the winner will be drawn at random with an independent witness present.
How will I know if I’ve won?
We will post details of the winners online (on the competition page), and we will contact the winner directly to arrange to have the tickets posted to them.
What happens then?
Winners will receive your tickets in the post.
Will my details be entered onto a database?
Yes, if you are not already on there, your details will be added to our database – but you can unsubscribe at any time and your details will not be shared with other organisations, other than possibly those involved in the competition. See full data protection issues below.
